Supporting Your Horse’s Longevity Through

Awareness & Alignment

This unmounted workshop will help you discover how your own body can either

support or sabotage your horse’s movement

and how small awareness shifts, now can keep your equine partner moving freely

  • Have you noticed signs of stiffness, unevenness, or discomfort in your older horse and wish you knew how to help?

  • Would you like to feel more aligned, soft, and effective, so your horse doesn’t have to compensate for rider imbalance?

  • Are you searching for ways to ride that create harmony between your movement and your horse’s, rather than conflict or compensation?

  • Are you unsure how to support your horse’s strength and balance without unintentionally causing strain?

I’ve Been There Too........

Hello, I’m Regina Staples. My riding journey began in the jumping arena, but after a major injury, I had to rethink how to continue doing what I love. That challenge led me to explore Centered Riding®, body awareness, and healthy movement for both rider and horse.

I’ve developed a deep appreciation for older and sensitive horses, those who still have so much to offer when supported with understanding and balance. Through Centered Riding®, I discovered the importance of recognizing the comparable parts between horse and rider, how our own patterns of movement directly influence theirs. Realizing that my limited knee flexion could restrict a horse’s motion was eye-opening and transformative!

We can’t erase past injuries or conditions, but we CAN create freer, more comfortable movement through awareness and alignment. In this workshop, I’ll share practical ways to support your horse through your own balance and body awareness helping you both find greater ease, connection, and joy in the ride.
