Hello, I’m Regina Staples. My riding journey began in the jumping arena, but after a major injury, I had to rethink how to continue doing what I love. That challenge led me to explore Centered Riding®, body awareness, and healthy movement for both rider and horse.
I’ve developed a deep appreciation for older and sensitive horses, those who still have so much to offer when supported with understanding and balance. Through Centered Riding®, I discovered the importance of recognizing the comparable parts between horse and rider, how our own patterns of movement directly influence theirs. Realizing that my limited knee flexion could restrict a horse’s motion was eye-opening and transformative!
We can’t erase past injuries or conditions, but we CAN create freer, more comfortable movement through awareness and alignment. In this workshop, I’ll share practical ways to support your horse through your own balance and body awareness helping you both find greater ease, connection, and joy in the ride.
