Horses are naturally crooked & asymmetrical, just like humans!
This is normal, universal, and not a flaw for them...until we ride them!

This workshop offers a simple, practical formula to help you understand your horse’s asymmetry and handedness, so you can clearly see what’s happening and know how to respond.

You’ll learn to "see"your horse’s natural tendencies, use straightforward exercises to improve balance and movement, and support both their comfort and longevity.

From nature, instinct, injury, their jobs & our training of them, finally get a start on understanding it all!

For their health, with our riding them, we need to work toward symmetry & ambidexterity.

Because when it makes sense to you, it becomes easier for your horse too.

You will learn..

  • A SIMPLE Formula to view a your horse’s natural & instinctual crookedness

  • The importance of supporting your horse toward better balance/ ambidexterity, mobility, and longevity.

  • How to recognise YOUR OWN horse’s natural crookedness and understand their individual pattern of asymmetry

  • Simple ways to organise YOUR body to support your horse’s straightness, balance, and freedom of movement.

  • How to work to improve your horse’s ambidexterity and YOURS at the same time!

  • Leave with notes, knowledge and lasting awareness

2026 Regina Staples -Ride Into Health

Hi I'm Regina Staples. My riding journey began in the jumping arena, but after a significant injury, I had to rethink how to continue riding safely and with ease. That experience left me with my own significant asymmetrical patterns that my body created to protect itself, which I later realized were also affecting my horse.

This sparked a deep desire to better understand both my own body and my horse’s natural crookedness. I wanted to know not just what I was feeling, but why and how to see it clearly enough to actually help.

Along the way, I’ve drawn from Centered Riding®, body awareness work, and the guidance of many experienced equine professionals. Through working with older, sensitive, and often “broken” horses, I became especially interested in how to rebuild balance, improve movement, and support long-term comfort.

It’s a very complex subject, with many layers that can feel overwhelming but we have to start somewhere. Over time, I’ve developed a simple, practical framework that has helped both me and my clients begin to see things more clearly, understand what the horse needs, and move forward with greater confidence and kindness.
